The idea is to define a vision for the life you want to live and an anti-vision for the life you refuse to live. Together they provide a direction for what to do and what to avoid. The inclusion of anti-vision allows for calibration with respect to where you are currently, what to avoid, and what to push towards. Which has advantages over the typical goal or resolutions list that only defines end state.
Vision - Define a vision for the life you want. Be as honest and detailed as you can, even if it feels superficial. The location, type of residence, number and type of pets, relationships, daily activities, body type, mental state, bank balance, career, etc. Anything and everything you can think of.
Anti-vision - Define a life you refuse to live. Or to target it directly to your current circumstances, make a list of everything you dislike about your current life. Again, be as honest and detailed as you can, even if it feels superficial.
Review both lists and you will have a definition of what to apply effort towards that includes information about your your current state and what to avoid.
